Lesson Learned...

So, this week and weekend turned out to be quite interesting in the dating world of Carla...Needless to say, I pointed out to my friend, Corey, I AM MY OWN WORST ENEMY!!!!

Let me start out by saying...trust your instincts people! LOL...I met this one dude, Danny, he is proving himself to be a complete and total asshole/born loser! Why did I think he was so awesome...He thinks I am some brainiac! I mean, I know, I'm quite brialliant, but no Einstein...Let's put it this way, those who walk around quoting Einstein (people like me), are not Einstein's themselves...he should know this...Anyway, I'm chalking him up quickly...so...'NEXT'...

I had a date on Saturday night with the sweetest, cutest guy...(I know, you have all heard it before from me)...but seriously...he's very sweet, very smart, very cute!!! We had a really nice time talking...we had just hours and hours of amazing conversation...which totally works for the Chatty Cathy I happen to be...haha...So, at the end of the night, I went home, he went home...I felt good about possibly seeing him again...but, then...dum dum dum...

On Sunday my best friend came to stay with me for the night and we had a quasi-double date (which I don't typically agree to, but did it for her)...HEY! A date is a date...and I'm all about hangin out, on this endless journey to find true love...Well, when we drove up, (my date, my best friend, and I drove together), she asked, "is that my date's vehicle?" (she's terrible with cars)...Well, I didn't pay her ANY attention...I was too busy checking out the car beside her...it was a new, black Nissan Altima with Wisconsin tags...YEAH! You guessed it...He was sooooooo in that restaurant...I flipped out...Lisa and my date just didn't get it...I was like soooooooo not wanting to enter in...I did it anyway...I never made eye contact with him...NOT once! I did see him from the corner of my eye though...I just pretended that I didn't see him...

The date on Sunday night was ok...I had a better time on Saturday night though...I was gonna call the guy from Saturday night on Tuesday, but, I called yesterday and left a message...No return call as of yet...I screwed up royally said one wise soul named Corey...I guess I should have said hello or thru my hand up or something...But, I didn't...lesson learned.
